Athens Sightseeing Tour
Moka Tours allows you to experience the most important monuments and buildings of the city.
Our tour is designed for those who want to explore the city and its unique history. All you have to do is sit back and enjoy the trip in the comfortable seats of our vehicles.
The first stop of our tour is the Acropolis, the universal symbol of ancient Athens. On the Acropolis hill we will spend up to one and a half hours learning all about the history of Ancient Athens while admiring the modern city from above.
We will continue our journey along Amalias Avenue, in front of Hadrian’s Arch and The Temple of Olympian Zeus, the two monuments that the Roman emperor Adrianos built and adorn the city center.
At the Kallimarmaro stadium we will stop for about 10-15 minutes to admire the ancient stadium known for the revival of the modern Olympic Games in 1896.
Then we will visit the centre of Athens, Syntagma Square, right in front of the building once known as the Old Palace, now housing the Greek Parliament. We will also stop in front of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier for about 10-15 minutes.
The next destination is the National Library, the Academy of Athens and the main building of the University of Athens where we will stay for about 10-15 minutes.
Following that we visit Monastiraki and the traditional neighbourhood of Thiseio, for about 45-50 minutes.
The tour will conclude with a visit to the hill of Lycabettus, which offers a breathtaking view of the city of Athens.
Visitors will then be returned to their starting point.
The duration of our tour is about 4 hours.
Price: 120€ (1-3 persons).
